Tenth International Conference on Permafrost

The International Conference on Permafrost is the premier event for permafrost research, organized by the International Permafrost Association every four years. The Tenth International Conference, after initial planning in Tyumen, will take place in Salekhard, located on the Arctic Circle on the east bank of the Ob River, during the period 25-29 June 2012. The conference organizers announce the last call for paper titles. A ?paper? is a peer-reviewed article (up to 6 pages) that will be subject to a full peer-review, and will appear in the proceedings to be printed and distributed at the conference. Titles are requested to be submitted no later than 30 June 2011. The full papers must then be submitted by 15 September 2011. You can submit your paper title and read instructions at the following address: http://www.ticop2012.org/instructions. Participants who do not wish to submit a paper will also be allowed to submit shorter Extended Abstracts until 15 February 2012. The nature of the presentation at the conference (oral or poster) is not dependent on the nature of the submission (Extended abstract or paper) and you do not need a paper to either attend or present at the conference.
