Short Course on Cryopedology by Prof. Carlos Schaefer
IGOT-UL, University of Lisbon, 16-17 October 2012 (9-13h) It is my pleasure to invite you to the Short Course on Cryopedology by Prof. Carlos Schaefer of the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil. Carlos Schaefer is a leading expert on Antarctic soils and has a large field experience, having coordinated several Antarctic campaigns during the last decade. The course intends to present an introduction to frozen soils and current methods of research and is framed within the project "Luso-Brazilean Programme for Research on Permafrost and Terrestrial Ecosystems of the Maritime Antarctic" funded by FCT-CAPES. The course is free of charge but the number of participants is limited by room space. Registration will be based on a first-come, first-served basis, so we suggest that you register early.
